Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the arcanex.io website (the "Site") and the Arcanex gift card product, including the redemption portal at claim.arcanex.io (the "Portal"). By accessing the Site or redeeming an Arcanex card (a "Card"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Portal.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Site and the Portal is lawful in your jurisdiction. Where crypto-asset activity is restricted where you are located, you may not be able to redeem a Card.

3. The Service

Arcanex issues physical gift cards that can be purchased with cash in participating retail stores. Each Card carries a QR code and a 6-digit scratch-off PIN. Redeeming a Card converts its face value into USDT and sends it to the crypto wallet address you provide, through the Portal.

The Site provides general information about the product. The redemption flow itself is provided through the Portal.

4. How Redemption Works

  • Scan the QR code or open the claim link printed on your Card to reach the Portal.
  • Enter the 6-digit scratch-off PIN from the back of your Card. The Card locks automatically after three failed attempts.
  • Choose a payout network (for example TRON, Solana or BSC) and enter the wallet address where you want to receive your payout.
  • Review the payout summary, including all fees, and confirm. The payout is then dispatched to the network.

5. PIN & Card Security

Your PIN is the secret code that authorises a redemption. Never share it with anyone. PINs are hashed with an industry-standard key-derivation function and a secret pepper; they are never stored or transmitted in plaintext. If a Card is reported lost, stolen or compromised, it may be revoked, in which case it can no longer be redeemed.

6. Payouts, Networks & Fees

Redemptions are paid out in USDT on the network you select. The net amount you receive is the Card's face value minus a platform fee, a merchant commission and the network gas fee. The full breakdown, including the net payout, is shown before you confirm so you can review it before committing.

Payouts are processed by third-party blockchain networks. We do not control, and are not responsible for, network availability, confirmation times or fluctuations in gas fees.

7. Card Status

  • Already claimed: if a Card has already been redeemed, no further payout can be made for it.
  • Revoked: if a Card has been revoked, it is no longer valid and cannot be redeemed.
  • Failed: if a payout cannot be completed, the Card is not charged and our support team can assist you.
  • A single Card can only ever be redeemed once. Attempting to redeem the same Card twice is not possible.

8. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for entering the correct wallet address and selecting the correct network. Blockchain transactions are irreversible: once a payout has been broadcast we cannot recover or reverse it. Please verify your address carefully before confirming.

9. Prohibited Conduct

  • You agree not to use the Site or the Portal for any fraudulent, illegal or unauthorised purpose.
  • You agree not to tamper with, reproduce, resell or otherwise misuse Cards, the Site or the Portal.
  • You agree not to attempt to circumvent security, rate limiting or fraud-prevention measures.

10. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The Site and the Portal are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses caused by blockchain network issues, gas fee volatility, or the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site or the Portal after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
